Repair Services

Daval Computers have the skills and equipment to repair PCs, Notebook Computers and Printers in house. Drop it in and tell us what it's doing, we will book it into our system, give you a job sheet for it and once on the workbench, diagnose the fault and fix it from there.

The following are just a few examples of the typical faults we fix: Virus and malware removal, upgrades, overheating problems, hard drive failure and data recovery, notebook power socket replacement, notebook screen replacement, printer paper jams and sensor failures, printer waste tank resets, blue screen crashes, memory problems, power supply problems, operating system errors etc

Terms and costs

• We charge £35 + VAT per hour for bench time

• If a job will cost less than £70 + VAT to fix, we will complete the job whilst it is on the workbench

• If a job will cost over £70 + VAT to fix, we will contact you and advise you of the cost of the repair, if you decide not to go ahead there will be a charge of £35 + VAT to cover the diagnostics carried out

• If we decide that a fault renders the equipment beyond economic repair there is a charge of £30 + VAT to cover diagnostics costs

• Our usual turn around time is 2 to 4 days, however this does depend on workload and the availability of any spares required
